Some medications, like immunosuppressants, can affect your test results. If you’re taking these, it’s best to speak with your GP before making any changes. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, we recommend waiting to take the test as antibody levels are naturally lower during this time and may not provide an accurate picture. If you haven’t eaten a certain food recently, your immune system may no longer be producing antibodies to show a reaction in the test. For the most accurate results, try to include that food in your diet once a day for at least a week before testing – but only if it doesn’t cause severe symptoms. If it does, it’s best to continue avoiding it.
