Testosterone Test Kit: Male Hormone QuickDraw

£46.00

Want to know if your testosterone is low? This at-home testosterone test kit measures your total and free testosterone, plus 6 related hormones that help explain why your levels may be high or low. Together, they give you a clear picture of what could be affecting your energy, mood, libido or performance. There's no finger-pricking. Our QuickDraw kit uses the Tasso+ device to collect your blood quickly and painlessly from your upper arm at home. Take your sample in the morning, send it back free, and your results will arrive in the Randox Health app within 2-3 working days after we receive it.

Why should you test

Testosterone supports sperm production, a healthy sex drive, and muscle strength and mass. When levels fall below normal, you may notice low energy, fatigue, hair loss, low sex drive, erectile dysfunction, low mood or increased body fat. Levels naturally begin to decline after the age of 30. Alcohol, excess weight, uncontrolled diabetes, certain medications and overtraining can also play a part. Testing tells you where you stand, and whether it's worth speaking to a doctor about options such as testosterone replacement therapy (TRT).

What To Know Before Testing

Fasting Recommended (8 hours)

No food or drink, except water at least 8 hours before. Be sure to eat a light, healthy meal before you start your fast and avoid drinking alcohol.

Test In The Morning

If you are interested in your testosterone levels, please ensure you collect your sample in the morning

Gels or Creams

Please avoid collecting your sample from any finger that has been used to apply hormone gels or pessaries within the past 4 weeks. If you use hormone patches/ creams / gels on your arms, do not use the same arm for blood collection with the Tasso device, as this may affect your results. To minimise the risk of contamination, consider wearing gloves when applying these products.

Biotin (Vitamin B7)

Biotin (Vitamin B7) is a common component of many multivitamins and is also available as a standalone supplement. Biotin is known to interfere with laboratory testing and can affect various blood results. Unless prescribed by your Doctor, we recommend stopping supplementation at least 48 hours prior to testing. If the supplement has been prescribed, please speak with your Doctor before stopping.
