Why Get Tested
You should get an STI test if you are concerned about your sexual health due to a recent event, have a new sexual partner or would like peace of mind. If you are experiencing unusual discharge, genital pain, redness, or inflammation, it is recommended that you get tested for STI’s. Other symptoms can include itching, lower pelvic pain, or urinary symptoms.
Some infections do not display symptoms in the early stages and can unfortunately lead to serious issues making routine STI testing whether you have symptoms or not important.
biotech What we Test
* Please note from time to time there may be temporary changes to the test menu. If you are booking for a specific test please contact us to confirm availability.
* Keep in mind many STI's have an incubation period following sexual activity in which STI's may not be detected. It's recommended to wait at least 2 weeks following sexual activity before taking the test to ensure accuracy
