Anyone can get skin cancer, but some things can increase your risk — like fair or red hair, sun-sensitive skin, lots of moles, a history of sunburns, or spending a lot of time outdoors. That’s why it’s important to keep an eye on your skin and check for any new or changing moles, especially ones that itch, bleed, or change shape or colour. Please note you must be over 18 to use this service, and the price is for the assessment of one mole, additional moles can be added at an additional price per mole. We’re unable to check moles that are open or bleeding, in intimate areas, on tattoos, on the eyelid or tip of the ear, or covered by a large amount of hair. Please be aware that our team are unable to advise you on which pigmented lesions or moles you wish to have assessed.

What To Know Before Your Appointment
Expect the Visit to Last 20-30 Minutes
The consultation lasts about 20 minutes, though we recommend you give yourself a 30 minute window for check-in, wait times and more. In the consultation you will be expected to complete a short questionnaire and a scan of your mole will be completed.

Please note that our team are unable to provide medical advice or opinions regarding any mole or skin lesion being assessed. If you have a preference regarding the gender of the phlebotomist, please contact the clinic or our Customer Support team prior to your appointment so we can do our best to try to accommodate your request..
Contraindications
In some circumstances, we may be unable to perform a scan. This includes lesions located in certain areas of the body, such as:: intimate areas (e.g. genitals), areas of the breast covered by a bra, eyelids, lips, or the tip of the ear, areas covered by excessive hair, open wounds or broken skin, skin covered by tattoos, areas directly over a pacemaker
Morning of Visit
To ensure the best possible assessment, we kindly ask that you remove any makeup or fake tan from the area to be scanned prior to attending your appointment.
Important Note
It is important to be aware that our bodies and moles are always changing and we can’t guarantee that a mole that has been considered normal during the assessment will always remain so. We recommend that you are aware of any changes to the mole/pigmented lesion and to use the ABCDE rule to self-check. This service doesn’t provide a diagnosis of skin cancer.
