SPORTS PARTNERS

Randox has a proud history of supporting sports as it brings people together to share in the collective dream of achieving the impossible and beating the odds. Our sporting partnerships range from The Randox Grand National.

Grand National

THE RANDOX GRAND NATIONAL.

The Randox Grand National is the most famous Steeple Chase in the world, taking place every year in April at the Aintree Racecourse, in Merseyside. Broadcast on ITV, this worldwide event attracts an estimated television audience of around 600 million, with more than 150,000 people enjoying the action live over the course of the three-day racing festival.

Following the announcement that Randox will be extending their sponsorship of The Grand National Festival for a further five years, Dr. Peter FitzGerald CBE, Founder and Managing Director of Randox, said:

We have thoroughly enjoyed working with The Jockey Club's team at Aintree and look forward to another successful five years, when we are once again able to come together to celebrate the Randox Grand National.

NHS Sandwell

NHS & HEALTHY SANDWELL.

Through joining forces with Sandwell council's Healthy Sandwell team and the NHS, Randox Health are giving thousands of eligible Sandwell residents advanced diagnostic Health Checks capable of detecting early signs of diabetes, heart and kidney disease and hypertension, free of charge. These tests are available to Sandwell residents aged between 40 and 74 who have not previously tested for these conditions and can provide eye-opening insight to those that need it. If you believe you are eligible and have not yet received a GP letter, click here to take an eligibility check.

David Ferguson, Chief Operating Officer of Randox Health is optimistic about the partnership saying:

Randox is delighted to be part of this joint initiative with Sandwell Council's Public Health Team. It has long been our belief that early diagnostic health testing delivers better outcomes for individuals. It relieves the pressure on our NHS by enabling lifestyle change and medical intervention. This, in turn, prevents or mitigates illnesses which would otherwise require intense long-term treatment.

CHARITY PARTNERS.

At Randox Health, we are proud to work with a wide range of charity partners who share our ambition to make a positive contribution to the communities we serve.

Tim Cogley Foundation
Tim Cogley Foundation

The Randox Health Clinic in Liverpool is delighted to offer free cardiac screening services through our partnership with the Tim Cogley Cardiac Screening Foundation. Participants aged 25 or over will also be provided with a unique Cardiovascular Risk Score, which details your risk of experiencing a cardiac event over the next 10 years.
Frank Cogley, Tim's father, said of the cardiac screening:
"There are many types of heart disease. The national media sadly, but regularly, report instances of young people suddenly dying, as in the case of our youngest son Tim, from undiagnosed heart disease. The current lack of routine screening of 18-39 year olds leaves a gaping chasm in our healthcare provision but with our highly motivated partner, Randox Health, we hope to redress this through lifestyle changes and preventative health programmes."

Kensington and Chelsea Foundation
Kensington + Chelsea Foundation

Kensington and Chelsea is a borough usually associated with affluence and wealth, but it also has areas of severe deprivation and significant inequalities. The Kensington + Chelsea Foundation is an independent charity, set up in 2008 by local resident, Jeremy Raphaely, who was aware of these challenges in our borough and was determined to gain support from like-minded people to help address them. Randox are proud to be 2022 partners of the Kensington + Chelsea foundation.
