Most STIs take some time to show up in your system after a sexual encounter. Testing too soon might not give you accurate results, so it’s best to wait at least 14 days before taking an STI test. For urine tests, make sure it’s been at least 2 hours since you last went to the bathroom. And if you’re on your period, please wait until its finished before booking your STI test.
